A Note from Patrick:

This walk covers some of my favourite parks and areas in the Willowdale neighborhood. In it, I will be sharing some brand new poetry, interviews with community members and some of my own personal connection to the Willowdale neighbourhood. I look forward to taking you along a journey and I hope you will allow me to both entertain and educate on this trip!

Patrick Walters is a poet and arts educator who is dedicated to sharing stories that speak to the issues we all battle daily. His work is a constant reminder to us to never give up on our own hopes and dreams, even in the face of the harsh realities of the world we live in. After releasing his debut album, The OffShore Account in October 2018, Patrick went on to release his 2nd studio album, “Human Nature'' in November of 2022.

Throughout this time, Patrick has also been focused on his arts education career as well as sharing his works of poetry on stages across North American cities and the Caribbean, where his parents raised him on the island of St. Kitts.

His ideals of perseverance and hope in the face of adversity have helped him to this point and today, he is happiest when he can share a bit of his lived experience with others.
